Kanye West Gives Lecture At Oxford University | Webpronews

"People say Ive got a bad reputation. I think Ive got the best reputation in the building." #YeezOx The Tab Oxford (@TheTabOxford) March 2, 2015 "One of my biggest achilles heels has beanery ego. And if I, Kanye West, can remove my ego, I think theres hope for everyone." #YeezOx The Tab Oxford (@TheTabOxford) March 2, 2015 MmmmHmmm. Well, in the midst of Kanye Wests self-adulation, he did have some poignant things to say to the future generation. He said, We have the resources as a civilization to make a utopia, but were led by the most greedy and the least noble. "They need to do award shows for Nobel Peace Prize, but I guess that doesnt sell as many MasterCard ads." #YeezOx The Tab Oxford (@TheTabOxford) March 2, 2015 Of course, he spoke about racism.

Kanye West Admits His Ego is His 'Biggest Achilles Heel,' Internet Calls Him a 'Loser' - Yahoo Celebrity

He transferred to an English course and later dropped out of college to focus on music, but West is convinced he would have become an internationally-renowned artist if he had stuck with his first career choice, and even compares himself to iconic Spanish painter-sculptor Pablo Picasso. He told the audience at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, "Today was the first time I realized, if I could have done it again ... I would have researched where I could have got the best and the strongest education. ... click The idea of being a fine artist, that's a really difficult profession to get into, to be respected in, to make money at. "Maybe the goal for some of the people was just to work at an advertising agency or at a record label.

Kanye West Makes Public Apology to Beck & Bruno Mars

The controversial rapper took to Twitter lastThursday (Feb 26)to apologize to Beck for hopping on stage during his acceptance speech for Album for the Year at the Grammys. In addition to stealing Becks shine, Kanye also went into a typical Yeezy rant after the show and told E! News, Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce. We guess Kanye is now having a change of heart? Beck wasnt the only person Kanye felt the need to make amends with either. Kanye also apologized to Bruno Mars for hating on him and offered to do a song with the singer/songwriter. Check out his tweets below: I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, Im sorry Beck.

Kanye West: 'I wanted to be greater than Picasso' | Entertainment News | KATU.com - Portland News, Sports, Traffic Weather and Breaking News - Portland, Oregon

In series of tweets, Kanye introduced his new album. Kanye West started with a tweet that read, New Album title., then So Help Me God, which we can assume is the title of his new album, not an assurance of his intention to release said album title. Catchy. This new revelation from Kanye West comes after simultaneous apologies to Beck and Bruno Mars, both of whom he has insulted in recent history, probably among many others. New Album title KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) March 1, 2015 So Help Me God pic.twitter.com/e3UUsQQEts KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) March 1, 2015 However, as a big fan of Becks, these apologies dont seemI dont knowsincere. At all.

Kanye West reveals next album title | Boston Herald

(AP Photo/Bebeto Matthews) 1 Alex Stedman Kanye West had a surprise for fans Saturday night. After teasing followers by tweeting "New album title...," the rapper then revealed the name to his follow-up to "Yeezus": "So Help Me God." He also included what many are speculating to be the album's coverwork. As many observant fans caught, the photo seems to be a 13th century Monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary, which isn't surprising, given the past religious undertones in West's work. So Help Me God pic.twitter.com/e3UUsQQEts -- KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) March 1, 2015 A release date has yet to be announced, and fans probably shouldn't hold their breath for one, either. It looks like West has been inspired by the surprise releases by Beyonce and Drake, hinting in an interview on New York's Power 105.1 last month that his new music will also make a "surprise" arrival, saying release dates are "100% played out." West has been busy in the past week, debuting his new song "All Day" with an explosive performance at the Brit Awards.
